BaldguyLee
Hi. I'm a 1st year bowhunter, been practicing for two yrs. My bow usually is stored in a case. Do you guys ever hang your bows instead ? It's a pain opening the case and reattaching the quiver before practice. I could hang it by the top cam with the quiver on and just grab it daily and shoot a bit. I think I'd enjoy practice more like that. After the season, I could re-store it into the case until spring or summer. I just need to know if hanging a bow will deform it in any way. Thanks ! --Lee
sampotter
I use one of those plastic coated screw in hooks in my garage. Should be able to find them in the same aisle as ratchet straps at HD.
WNYBuckHunter
I always hang mine. The only time its in a case is when it travels. I have one of the foam coated ladder hooks from Walmart and it works fine.
G-Man
hang it no problem, may want rubber coated hook to keep annoization of cams from scratching
Doc
I have a huge bow-rack downstairs that is made from a big 2"x6" frame with 1" dowels glued and driven in which are wrapped in leather. Bows that are not in current use are wrapped in clear plastic bags to protect them from dust and dirt. The whole rack is kept out of direct sunlight. The bows are pretty much babied. oneidacountyhunter
I also hang mine in the garage. Easy to walk out back and start shooting. I have a hard plastic case for the truck
covert
I hang mine in the garage. Haven't put up a dedicated hook yet so for now it's on the end of a wood ladder that hangs on the wall.
Deerthug
Will keeping it in a hard case when not in use harm it in anyway?

ants
I've been hanging my bows, even during storage, for years. Just use a rubber coated hook or wrap a nail in duct tape. No worries.
