So far 5 1/2 hours of a nice steady rain...and more on the way...perfect fall weather as far as I'm concerned...Cool ...some rainy days...some sunny ..nice mix...so glad cool weather is here

As long as we don't get flooded out of our best spot again I'll be happy. The last two years were bad for us but this year the water level is the lowest its ever been, no wader's required because we can cross with our boots on.

the best fall days are the ones that rain most of the day on and off then quit during prime hunting hours and the sun comes out. seems like EVERY time that happens i see the most deer.

I used to leave the woods when it started to sprinkle so I wouldn't get caught in the rain . As I left , I would see deer out feeding in the fields . Now I will sit in the rain unless it turns into a downpour or lightning strikes .

A high of 61 is forecasted for today ..........
