nyantler
Good for you John.. sometimes an exciting hunt just doesn't end with a kill.. but still exciting just the same! Always good to know there is a good buck in the area to hunt. Good Luck and of course call me when you get that bad boy.
ANTLERS
That sounds like a good day afield.Saturday was dead for me ,Mosquitos and squirrels were the only living thing I saw.One bright spot was a huge pile of bear scat near my ladder stand. burmjohn
Looks good from the stand Jon . Some wide open shooting lanes . Good luck . That area is pretty open. Has some ferns/natural grass growing along with those bushes with the small red berries (not sure what they are).

burmjohn
That sound like a fun hunt!! I have never seen a bear while hunting, someday. Pack extra shorts in your pack just in case. Tell you what, this same stand, last year... Walking in had my dim hat light on. I hear a bunch of noise, pitch black can't see crap. I grab my light out of my pocket and shine it, I see 4 sets of eyes staring at me... (mind you I had my bow) I move the light and see 4 yotes. Yeah, 20 yards, I made noises, and it felt like 60 seconds they finally ran. Now I carry a pair of underwear with me in my pack. Never know! wdswtr
PSE brute. About 4 years old or so. Sent from my DROID RAZR That is identical to my Browning illusion in every way that is 4 years old. Doesnt look like they made any changes to the Browning line other than a label. My favorite bow I have owned and I have had quite a few. Zem18
Awesome read John - I love that feeling when the leg starts shaking and you can't stop it no matter what you try and do. Good luck and I hope you get a crack at that big guy.
