Elmo Posted November 7, 2012 Share Posted November 7, 2012 For all of you heading upstate from li or NYC this weekend to hunt the rest stop on 87 north just past the toll by stew lenards has gas the line is about 15 to 20 min. They have had gas since the start and the lines are shorter and shorter good Luck I hope this helps you get upstate Thanks for the heads up. I have to head that direction tomorrow and have enough gas to get to where I need to go but might not have enough to get back. I guess I'll leave early and fill up on my wya up. Chef Posted November 7, 2012 Share Posted November 7, 2012 Yea it's getting bad I did see a convoy of about 6 Sunoco trucks heading north on 87 this morning. And yea Elmo you should deffinatly fill up there it's a sure thing and in the early am the lines are short. I grew up in the area and the woods on the side of 87 have a lot of deer in them stop off get gas and sit for an hr... I pass a bunch and say I'm going to the Hess on 83, but I don see any cars along the road so I think they are out of gas. I get up closer and 10 cars in line! I wait n fill up in 10 minutes!! Yesterday I drove by that gas station, completely filled up my tank, and was out of there in 15 minutes. There was only maybe 5 or 6 cars in front of me. Didn't really see any lines (of course that was 2 days ago so not sure no) I know are gas station in town only has ultra...that is all he can get right now.
