steve863
Sorry about the dust you'll be breathing. You sure it's not your farts that we will be breathing?? What comes out of your mouth or rear is pretty much the same.

HuntOrBeHunted
Hey Sogaard. How does Crow taste? Funny how the OP hasn't come back to defend his point and crack jokes now. I notice he had the time to check my profile out though lol.
Mr VJP
Steve, a lot of intelligent folks would strongly disagree with you. Your posts, however, don't seem to ever offer anything productive in the fight against oppressive gun bans. Why is that? Are you really on the anti-gun payroll? 13BVET
2nd ammendment has little to do with being able to own guns to hunt with or for protection against home invasion. It was put in place so citizens would be able to defend against tyrants in their own government. With this ban all Americans were basically disarmed ( if you dont think this is going to be federal law soon give it a few days to sink in ) The "assualt weapons" that are under attack are your only hope against an army of soldiers with them. Citizens with shotguns rifles and 7 round mags in handguns will be rolled over with little resistance. You libbers think your so smart, so what do you do when a crazy right winger comes into power and takes all your rights away? You going to go into the streets and protest? You think they will care and say oh im sorry here's your rights back. No! more than likely they will mow you down in the streets and throw you in a mass grave. So laugh now and high five all you want but you just killed your only chance to hang onto the little freedom you have left. You wont have the party in power forever. Ironically, a lot of military personnel will more than likely fight on the side of the people. The fact of the matter is, that the military is overwhelmingly conservative as a rule, and tend to be very committed to the Constitution. I did 14 years in the Army, and I can tell you, that there is not much love at all for the left in there. I would post some of the comments from vets I served with, and people I know that are still active, about their views on this crap, but it's too vulgar. These guys despise the liberal agenda. Oathkeepers.org, is a group of vets, and active duty military, that is growing like crazy. I believe they're up to 10,000 members now, and still growing. These are people are devoutly Pro-Constitution. Edited January 16, 2013 by 13BVET
Mr VJP
They'll be up against the police, the FBI, all other federal LEO's and the blue helmets of the UN, but at least they'll be on our side when the stuff hits the fan.
steve863
Why don't you post anything else other than how the world is out to get you and your guns? I have posted on many topics here, and always try to inject humor into most of them. I don't post here for the sole purpose to solve the gun issues in NYS or anywhere else. Your posts on the other hand are nothing but the same hate filled nonsense post after post.

Mr VJP
Because they are out to get the guns. If you still think that's nonsense, you are completely in denial. This, to me, is NO JOKE! This is the "Gun and Hunting Laws and Political Discussions" forum. You want to post elsewhere, please do so. If you don't like talking about how gun owners are being oppressed, don't. But don't come on here telling the rest of us we are full of BS and nothing is happening. Does that post make sense to you? silent death
I pray you are right about that. With the weapons we will have left, we are gonna need them. theres more guns out there than people think. and at this very time people are stashing them. do you think people that had relatives that passed away are goin to say that said relative gave them a ar or a ak or any other guns?. do you think ny doesnt have a militia? not one you will ever here of. but i asure you there is one. ... and the reaseon why you would never here of a militia in ny is because it is banned or illegal. . but like i said we the people have the power if we stick togeither
Mr VJP
I hear ya hung4. Let's all hope that won't be needed. But unless we mobilize all of these folks now, to tell Albany we won't take this crap, we may get to that point. Remember, the shot fired at the British in Concord, was because they were coming to empty the armory the Patriots had there. You gotta draw the line in the sand and stick to it! Sogaard
Here's the thing that I don't get... Many people keep mentioning the word "tyrants", but all I see is a democratic process that voted in and approved laws that you happen not to agree with. New York has never been a gun-friendly state. Move to Texas if you're looking for that. This is the will of the majority, which, last time I checked, is the whole point of our system of government. josephmrtn
Quoting John Adams: "Remember a Democracy never lasts long, it soon wastes exhausts and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide". Richard M. You have some here trying to rally everyone, thinking that gun owners actually have a chance. Come on look at how easily this law passed?? Even many republicans voted for it. They surely can move to more gun friendly states if they don't like it here. But I do have news for them. The winds of change will reach those places too one day. May not be as quick as here, but I can assure them that it will. Societies ideas about things change and it's changing fast about gun ownership, even among gun owners. Those who don't want to believe it can continue not believing it, but in the long run it will be their loss.
growalot
Where do you get the will of the majority?... when they only had a VERY short time to even read the bill...let alone get their districts public input on it....when protocol involving time limits where totally ignored.... This is nothing more that aspirations on a political future...and I would say thank God ...if I could trust that Americans had more that a 30 min memory ....The thought he could actually get into the White House as Obama did turns my stomach
steve863
....The thought he could actually get into the White House as Obama did turns my stomach You can rest assured, that Cuomo will NEVER be the president of the US. With his arrogant speech patterns and persona he does not stand a chance. Even Christie of NJ who can be a bully looks like a saint compared to Cuomo. If that changes, the law will be repealed in a couple of years. And Cuomo may aspire to be president one day, but it is very, very unlikely. He is too radical for a national nomination.
