Tag went through washer

My last doe tag went through the washer and now looks like green and white camo. I assume it's still good, but wasn't sure if it was some kinda "void" indication. Opinions?

Same thing happened to me last year. As long as it can be read it's okay. Otherwise, you need to have it replaced ASAP because I heard it has to be through the mail.

i lost my al my tags in september. went down to the sporting goods store and they re issued it right then and there. no mail. My brther did the same thing when he lost his wallet back in november, right then and there. No problem at all.

I wonder if it has to be where they were issued. This is a second round tag I got at Wally world in Rome when I was sent there to replace photo lab.

no. i got my original at fat nancies, then went to all season sports to get my replacement.

Was still able to read the numbers from mine when it went through the wash so I never replaced it. Thought it would have been a hassle. Good to know for the future.

It probably is pretty obvious what happened to it, and you do have all the supporting tags and licenses to back up the authenticity of it. If that happened to me, I probably wouldn't worry about it. If you had nothing at all left of it or the rest of your documentation, then I would be looking to get replacements for sure. But you do still have your tag and it is recognizable as to what it is.

But sure enough, do what makes you feel better. There's no point worrying about potential tickets if you are concerned.

Had to manhandle my last deer onto the truckbed single-handed so they were more likely to attract coyotes than hide from deer.

I lost my this year ,went to get replacements and they only would replace carcass tags not DMPs

Yeah I do religiously every few hunts, wash off any scents or odors using scent free soaps.

I think it should be fine as long as you clearly mark everything and the tag numbers are all still easily read.
