Definitely classier then the toilet bowl flower bed.  Interesting way to use a wornout skid steer track. 

I actually don't mind the looks. Not mine, but a few miles away from me.

I like the innovation, but I would have chosen to do 2 semi-raised garden beds. More bang for the buck, I guess. What the hell...it works. good for him/her.

looks good to me..... but I hope they left plenty of air drainage on the bottom. That's a slow death to most ornamental trees.

Water should drain out as it's on a slight slope. Can't tell if it goes around that tree, or in front of it.  If it's around it, I agree it's not good, and will eventually kill the tree. Definitely not a ornamental tree.. looks like a oak.
