LIHUNT did take the pic 2 years ago on the tailgate of my pickup and i shot the deer it was a 17 for the record at 203 and 2/8 nontypical.  Funny how that picture made it here.

Got one this morning!  Broken up 7 point. There were 3 other bucks chasing one hot doe on private land in suffolk.  Great Morning & my biggest buck with the bow!.

This guy got shot by our Long Island clubhouse this past week. There are many more like him we have had about 5 taken and several missed.

It looks like a suffolk tag.  Suffolk has their own tags for their own lands.

took a 7 point on island and a nice 8 with gun upstate along with a mature doe. good season for me this year... wish i would have been able to connect on something to wall hang but theres always next year! and alos 2 more bow hunting out here for me...

this is very true. i really did want to donate this year as well! hopefully i can sneak out 2 more times and try to take something to donate. i butchered all 3 deer up myself, i have plenty of cuts and also 30-40 lbs of chop meat i made with seasoning and 10 lbs of bacon cut into it. OH boy is it good! lol

My buddy matt downed a biggun out of our public land spot in the pine barrens this afternoon.  This is his first deer, and after hunting hard for 2 seasons he deserves it.  I will be putting alot of time in this month since classes will be ending in the next week or so.

Definitely a nice buck especially this time of the year.Post rut what time was it shot and what was the deer doing prior to being shot? Just asking cause I dont want to start sitting again until I know there moving when the second rut kicks in.Great job Matt.

He was shot about 3:15 pm and was sniffing around my friends stand for 20 minutes
