Paranoid ?

I was going through the local swap sheet and noticed two ads to sell "assault rifles". One was an AR-15, and the other was an AK-47 with two thirty round mags. Am I paranoid to think this might be some kind of set up or are people this dumb/crazy? Or am I missing something ?

Sounds like a sting to me. No one can be that stupid to try to sell them in a newspaper.

I'm not sure what the difference is between a "sting" and "entrapment". But we all know that stings are a common legal tool for law enforcement.

I dont think so. Its not just illegal to sell them, its illegal to buy them.

Law enforcement would have to provide both a motive and an opprotunity .
