Lawdwaz
Today is garbage day. I rolled the tote out to the curb and was almost overcome by the stench. Now I remember our old trick, put the fish guts/parts in the freezer until garbage day............ Anyone need any maggots???????

ants
Same thing happened to me Monday night when I took the can to the curb. I almost yorked. Only the stench was from a dead squirrel I found in the yard Saturday morning. I double bagged it but it didn't help much. I should have buried it. +1 on fish guts in the freezer till trash day. jim335
I also do this for any chicken trimmings, fat, skin, etc. and the tray it came in, wrap it plastic store bag and in the freezer.
Pygmy
My fish cleanings go in a 5 gallon bucket to be deposited at a culvert on a friend's property, about a mile from the nearest house. The resident coons love me, and the cleanings are usually gone by the next day.. Chicken scraps, fat, meat trimmings, etc go on the ground next to my utility shed..My semi-pet crows clean them up promptly. There's one out there right now gobbling down the trimmings from last night's Delmonico.. Probably the best fed crows in town.
Doewhacker
I think Pheasant carcass's might be a tie for stench on trash day with fish guts. Especially on a hot day.
hunter49
Always wanted to put a bag of fish guts under the seat of my a-hole foreman's car seat at work on a nice July day but he kept the car doors locked. dam!
Doewhacker
I worked for a guy that popped the hood of another guys car and stuffed a Salmon fillet in the air box...mean bastard. I had to help pop the hood so he didn't go after me.
