damore81
Last night I got to see bucks in velvet. Not one but a bachelor group of 3. And they all had very impressive racks. Guess what.... they werent up at camp. I saw them where I live in Staten Island behind a Bed Bath & Beyond. I always knew they were here in Staten Island and I have seen does here and there but never bucks like this. Awesome sighting. My wife thought I was crazy when I saw these deer lol. P.S. Sorry for the terrible pics. I only had my cell phone and I had to zoom in all the way which ruined the pic.

damore81
Yep no hunting, no coyotes, lots of cover means lots of old deer. These guys are gonna get big.
ants
Cool...... Oddly enough, over the past several years I have seen a few killer bucks behind the local gander MTN. Last week I almost hit a doe and her little fawn, as I was cutting through. They popped out of nowhere. I hit the breaks and the fawn went one way...mom the other. Woodsman20
Ha!! Interesting title. Backyard bucks - gotta love them. Then when you tell non-hunters how hard they are to get (the big ones)then they explain how they drink out of their garden hoses.
