Question about the forum rules.

In case any one is wondering, last night Shawnhu and jjb4900 were going back and forth over some dumb stuff that Shawnhu brought back up in a thread for what ever reason and then it escalated to Shawnhu telling him he would prove that he has guns by having him look up the barrel of a gun he owns. Essentially insuating he would shoot him. Geno later addressed it and deleted some of the post's.

 

Guess I completely missed out on some good entertainment.

Even in a thread regarding proper behavior, we find some unprovoked back-handed remarks.  Can only imagine what goes on in the those threads where illegal activities are called out.

Listen, when you are always in trouble for something in life, and then you bring that to a forum, it might mean something.

It's usually how it starts.  Someone makes a personal remark.  Someone else thinks that remark is aimed at them and makes a negative remark back at the original person, then it just escalates from there.

just curious if it's ok to resort to threatening other members with violence when you run out of intelligent responses on this forum...................noticed there's times when some get suspended or banned for using foul language, but yet some can get away with threatening others with violence with no repercussions.........I'm a little confused as to what is or isn't permitted.

Just waiting to see how long it takes this thread to go south. Its amazing how a thread about some relevant can turn into a peeing match about absolutely nothing. I stand by the saying of take it to private message. Some of us actually want info and a civil conversation, not have to read through 3 pages of chest thumping, holier than thou garbage.

I can't take back what you said and what he said, don't go down those roads and you don't have to worry about drama. You do seem to like to be a victim after starting trouble though, might want to pay attention to the words you choose and unnecessary fights you pick.

Honestly, taking things to the next level will get you in trouble beyond getting banned on a forum.

Correction: Ex-girlfriend was from Wappingers Falls and that is south of Poughkeepsie. She loved staying with me when I lived on Honeoye Lake....figured out why after visiting her hometown. She tried to prepare me but I still could not believe how much traffic there was.

 

She was smart and knew me well enough to know that I would never move out there and cut me loose. Now, I know myself better and she was right.

Doewacker just implied a threat in his most recent post.  I'm not taking side here but if we want to stop this kind of back and forth bickering, all parties should be held accountable.  I don't think we should go with a "he started it" and thus every one else's infractions can be justified.
