2013 Prattsburg NY Cinnamon Bear

Shot just North West of Blue Eagle in Prattsburg NY, this season. Don't have any other details....

Why is it so many people look like grumps when getting their picture taken with game?  I ever got a bear that nice in that pretty a color I'd be ear to ear.

wow, beautiful. I have never heard of a color phase in NY.

About the grumpy look someone asked about...I know I have helped drag out plenty of critters, and sometimes there just aint no energy left for the smile. It might me hiding under the mustache though.

This bear was takin by my friend, Todd Guerin, owner of Guerin-teed Archery and Guide Service in Marion NY on 11-23-2013 at his camp in Italy Valley New York. He took this bear using a 180 grain 300 Savage round. And he is smiling in these pics

that's a big bear.  congrats to him.  i've held bear cubs from a local zoo years back but I've yet to see one in the wild.
