Deer Hunting

  1. Deer Processing

New York Deer Hunting Discussions

This is to remind you what thread I posted in....So let me explain so you can try to understand...just picture my saying this very slowly for you...

In a deer hunting discussion thread, mentioning a good number of deer in a field feeding after a busy hunting season....gives an indication that the herd should be in good shape for next hunting season.

Now I understand that the  sub title mentioned deer processing and you tend to fixate on one thing while reading...but the main subject matter was NY deer hunting discussions

I hope that answered your question...but ...well I 'm sure I'll soon see it did not...

You had posted it in the deer processing forum, i moved it for you. It really had nothing to do with processing, but no biggie. Ignore the nit pickers.

I've got to say that the indications that I am seeing, this season hasn't even put a dent in the population. And I know that a lot of deer were taken in our area. I am in 8N, and I fully expect huge amounts of permits to be issued here next year. I can hardly wait to see the official harvest stats.

He's just dogging you now.........he'll quit after awhile.

It's his MO.

Her subject titles have bothered me for quite some time now, but this thread and recent bitching was the last straw. I guess I'm just OCD like that and like things neat.

I've never known a MOD of a forum to discourage members from trying to keep things organized and in the right categories, but there's always a first.

Actually, if you were trying to be helpful instead of being an ass, you could have PM'ed me or one of the other guys and said "hey, I think this thread is in the wrong spot.", but instead you acted the way you did. You dont want to read Grow's threads, then dont read them, but dont jump into them and start crapping on them because what she does bothers you. This is all I am going to say on the subject on the forum, if you wish to discuss it further, shoot me a PM.

BTW can you guys tell or have an opinion as to whether the deer in the second to last pic is a buck that dropped it's rack...I am just not sure????

Grow, If I take a guess I have a 50% chance of being right! It is hard to say IMO but when I first saw it before your comment I said oh I wonder if that is a buck that shed its antlers. I would guess that I think it is a small buck that has shed, but I am sure someone will disagree.
