Today was auction day on the farm! all the cows are gone except 18 that are headed to indiana beginning of next wk... were headed to maine for a week leaving next wed, auction went great! cows avg @ $2200 or so

Sorry to see a small farm having to close shop, but good on getting a decent price for the livestock.

If you are in the southern end try to get to Kittery Trading Post, decent place to see a few guns and such. Right on RT 1.

So was this just a cattle auction, or the whole contents of the farm? Are you all getting out of farming completely?

You'll forget all about those stinky old bovines when you replace them with your heard of freaky racked, monster farm raised whitetails!

I hear they're fetching near $10,000 a head!

Dad and i both have some job offers and we have some crops to take care of

Just the cows, keeping the equip and land for now
