Heading up tomorrow night after work to my place.  My brother is coming, his cousin, and then I have another buddy coming up Friday.   Took Thursday and Friday off to hunt.

 

Weather looks crappy for Sat, rest of the days seem OK but would be nice if it was 20 degree's colder!

 

Ready for some good fun, a few beers, good food and hopefully some deer.

 

Can't wait to get out there!

Sat in the field tonight had 3 does and 2 fawns come in. Not sure what spooked them but I think I was winded. Was just about to grab bow. Then 10 min later three 6 pointers rolled in.

No. Closest one was 65 yards and he was small.

Ah so last night got out of my field stand to walk to my brother. I was walking slow turn around and see a bear. Seeing them while in your stand is one thing. But when on the ground wow, had to change my shorts after that one.

I have never seen a bear while hunting. One of these days. And hopefully at a distance....a long distance!

At lunch I installed this led light bar for my ATV. Can't wait to test it out. Wired it all up to its own switch. Should light up the trail good. Headlights on my brute were not to hot.
