Looks like a young buck to me.... body small.. especially where the neck meets the chest.. just not indicative of a 3.5 yr old

2.5 with an injury I think but could be the same for a 3.5. I'd still shoot him

Wow it must be my eyes for the first buck looks very old to me...... declining thus the rack ..but I'm looking at depth of neck to chest...long...and the way his hide hangs on his frame..looks loose to me thus bad muscle tone just looks old...second buck 2 1/2

I aged the first buck as a much older buck also with just a smaller rack. I agreed on 2 1/2 for the second

Looks like just an odd angle to me on the first one. Neck looks thin, and meets the chest higher than the pic makes it look like. Not much in the front shoulders either.

If you have any other pics, it would be helpful.

1st buck 20-26mos

2nd buck 30mos-36mos

The feed has been good the last couple years, heavy fruit & nuts last year, corn & heavy nut this year. so the feed has been good for growth,but factor in last winter it was hard & long, neither of those bucks are over 3yrs old.
