Has anyone ever used one of those chair blinds when bow hunting, i dont have a tree stand yet and would like at least some sort of cover and concealment, plus its a nice comfy chair not wet leaves or a rock next to a tree. If you have used one, how large is it once set up and is it enough to be able to draw my bow in.

I think you would be restricted to about 70 degrees shooting in one and it seems I always place myself where I'm looking many directions. To be fair I've never used one or know anybody that has. You could get a pop up for half the price that goes up in no time and be able to shoot threw the mesh totally concealed and bring a chair.

The picture in their ad looks like impending disaster when the guy releases. It would appear that there is no room for forward movement of the limbs. They might just be unknowingly tipping you off to a huge shortfall of that thing.

I have one and its a breeze to carry...set up and shoot from...with a gun....even with short limbs .drawing back your elbow would hit the back wall...so I think that roof opening would just be leaking problem and no use for a bow....mine cost 49.00

I gave away a single chair blind as it was too uncomfortable and restricted the view . I replaced it with a 2-man chair blind and use it for gun hunting . I cannot conceive trying to shoot a bow out of it . I am only 5'8" and even the pop up blind like the Ameristep Dog House blind is too small because you have to stick the arrow out when you draw and can still hit your elbow on the back wall .

The hub blinds are hefty and you need a folding chair but that's the way I would go . Most are easy to set up .
