2023 -24 DMP's

Went up to the Town Clerk's office . Got my Bow , Muzzle Loader and 2 8H DMP's . Another year with a lot of DMP's available .

I went yesterday and had a memory lapse when lady at clerks office asked what my first and second choice for DMP would be. Well, I gave my them in reverse order and got denied. I ended up with a 9A and no 9m that i always got every year. So with a long shot request, anyone that has a 9M they won't be using PM me , I'm looking for one.

I know a heck of a lot of DMP's are available but I recall people waiting and then getting denied .Not the case with Greg54 .

3m is guaranteed doe permits as long as I can remember

Went to the clerk and received a couple 4B's and one 4R , wanted 4H but no dice !

So I was just hanging out with my neighbors cousins. They come from Maryland. They by their license up here. There were 5 of them and all got doe permits and were asked to make a second choice we are in 8P so they picked 8S that is where my brother inlaw lives and I have another lease. They all got second permits also. Said they would sign over to me. I know 8S has a lot of deer but didn't think out of state hunters get a second choice. Guess I'm wrong.

My brother lives in California. Comes home every year for opening week. My nephew has been with him and hunting last 3 years. My brother has been getting permits for years. My nephew has gotten 2 permits also for he last 3 years. I didn’t think non-residents could get permits either until my brother started getting them every year.

They will take $10 for the DMP application all day long, resident or not.
