Small buck checked a doe at 0645 then left, just squeaked in a coyote and hit him not sure it was vital though.

I plan to do an afternoon hunt Saturday in Geneseo . I don't do an all day hunt as I don't feature getting up at 3am to do an all day . Buck or doe - no preference .

Looks like a haircut on the yote, saw 14 deer 1 small buck.

On my jog this morning I saw in a distance a deer chasing another deer. Too far to see what they were.

Gonna go to PA in the am, had the big 10 on cam two mornings ago neck looks all swollen up, gonna bring the calls and rattle. I’m not hunting these warm evenings too agressively.

Woods were so still tonight you could hear a mouse fart! Last 4 evening hunts only two deer. Warm temps and the moon phase screws them up.

I've got chasing going on 35 yRds to the front of me. Bushes being torn up behind me. Nice shooter walks to my right through the brush with no good shot possible.

My son is sick and can't go hunting . Covid test came up negative . I will hunt his property in Mendon / HF . Here is a picture of his back yard . I won't be hunting from that blind .

Sat in my blind at my son's property from 3 - 6:30 . Didn't see a thing . On my way home on route 64 , I almost hit a doe that ran across the road in front of me . I never want to get a deer that wat .

saw nothing today. May stay out of the woods and do some fishing tomorrow. Pulled cards some decent deer and the doe with triplets still has them. Just way to many yotes chasing them. I'll be trapping again this year.

New scraps opening up. Few doe this morning with another sparring match going on. Yesterday chasing, today all is laid back. The deer world.

Up and in for the first time this year.  My first year bee keeping has taken a lot of my time, attention, and energy. 
 

After getting them mostly winterized today I figured I would treat myself to a the last 1 1/2 of this really pretty afternoon.  
 

There are 5 scrapes on the logging road I take to my stand.  All of them within about 60 yards of the stand, but not where I can shoot. I definitely can see anything that heads that way though, so might provide a sighting at least.

Went out this AM .... saw 4 Doe at separate times , out of Crossbow Range so no shots !  Just nice being out there !  Wife said " Hopefully Turkeys are on Sale "  no pity whatsoever !

Didn't hunt yesterday just too warm. Shot the two crossbows we have and my 1187 and 35 Marlin. That 1187 is about 37 years old. It was bore sighted and I haven't touched the sight since. That is at 75 yards. 1187 on left 35 top. I'm good!

Been driving all over to hunt and haven't checked my cams much, theirs a 130" 10 pt behind my house the whole time. ill be concentrating there when the wind is right. its a low impact spot where my stand is.

Too warm and can't hunt the mornings. I'll go out Wed evening before the front rolls in. My gang starts coming up Wed evening and will be here until next Tuesday. Weather looks great!
