Funny you say that, I've come across three during the day while turkey hunting , and saw one this morning in a grass field jogging back n forth for almost a half our , must have been playing whack-a-mole with the woodchuck holes ...

Guard your poultry for sure.  The small game will be just fine.  I'd rather have more foxes than coyotes.

I've heard that a high fox population indicates a low coyote population.

The fox pups I was watching at the den this spring have already moved out.

There will be a lot of young inexperienced fox getting splattered on the roadways now. They're trying to find their own food without momma fox, and they'll be out exploring new territory to call their own.
