This morning I headed out to my buddy's to give it a whirl with the ML. Saw 7 come through and bagged a nice doe. Reloaded for the walk back to the house for the side by side and we saw a giant 8 point, which we both promptly missed lol. Had a total of 12 deer in front of me this morning. Im stoked to have finally put one down and some meat in the freezer! The whole story will be in the success section.

Congrat WNY...I got skunked. saw 9 different buck over the 3 days. had one average 8 dragging his leg at 160 yards...smaller than I wanted but tried the shot because he was obviously hurting. Didn't connect. tracked him to the posted land I can't go in...no blood from my shot and none back trail from where I shot. Maybe a car accident of an old injury. Od because I could have swore it was the buck I saw the morning I got my 9.

One last shot on Tuesday afternoon. I have yet to have a mature doe within shooting range.

Thanks! Im glad to have something in the freezer. Sorry to hear you didnt connect on anything. Its gonna be time for some coyote hunting soon though.  :)
