Blunders / Mistakes with Trail Cams

Thought it might be nice to get away from all the arguing about laws and when it's okay to break them .

I had a few blunders with my trail cams . Here are a few and there must be more .....................

1) Forget that a camera has a code that needs to be set . Turn it on , forget to set the code , leave then come back in a week or two and find no pictures on the camera .

2) Change a card and forget to turn the camera back on .

3) Don't check battery life . Come back after changing a card and batteries died two days later .( I now carry a battery meter and extra batteries .)

4) Have lock boxes or cable locks on the cameras and forget to bring keys .

Anyone else ever do this ?

I forget to bring cards to change, put same card back in cam, forget to turn cam back on, forget to lock camera back up....this doesn't happen all the time...but boy when it does it has me scratching my head that age is really catching up on me!! :umnik:

leaving the doors open ...when I go to see how much they have munched the clover down ...or how many droppings or beds are in the plot....forgetting to turn from view to pic and eating battery up...forgetting to replace the card.... and  forgetting I had moved a cam and where the heck did I move it to????

LOL good thing about this...I have been forgetfull ALL my life...now where are those car keys????........
