This Tastes Lousy!

Well, the season is finally over...after 3 months of hunting I'm sitting at the dining room table with a cup of coffee thinking about some of

the hunts.  Some really comical with people busting up a hunt while grunting in a buck with their dog and on horseback coming right on top of me. Got to spend a lot of time in the woods and had a good time.

Got my honey's "do" list ready to go for the day in preparation for the Christmas dinner. Got a good wife that puts up with a lot during 

hunting season!

But I do have to admit the tag tastes like crap however you fix it!

Hmm, I've never had tag soup. (In NYS that is).

I could supply a soup kitchen from my Colorado and Pennsylvania unfilled filled tags though!!

I find that they don't taste too bad if mixed with tenderloin,onions, a little garlic,. .... Oh wait a minute...tag soup, I get it...lol...maybe next year..as long as you had fun trying that's what it is all about..

I too have eaten tags in the past. Just salt and pepper to taste. But I have never had

a bad deer season!

Grocery shopping is what your do to bring something home- hunting is not. I'd rather eat a tag but lived and loved moments in the woods than spite conservation and Mother Nature just to kill something
