I'm a Project Manager for a commercial glazing contractor. I do estimating, material takeoffs (ordering), and I operate software that optimizes cut lengths of aluminum to our automated saw. I also help with drafting of shop drawings.

I also install flooring whenever I can (10 years) Laminate/ Pergo, hardwood, and ceramic tile. Sometimes I go months without a day off. What's the difference if I'm not working on someone's house, I'm working on mine anyway.

Work now, rest when you're dead.

Graduating in May from University at Albany with a degree in Criminal justice with a concentration in constitutional law, working for a year as an EMT and beginning at UB law school in fall of 2012.

At the moment I make my money putting up with people's sh** in the lodge at Dick's.

  • 3 weeks later...

I was a commodities relocation specialist for the past 30 years. Would still be doing that if not for destroying my shoulder and arm while securing a load of machinery.

Now I concentrate on chasing walleye in the warm months and deer in the cold ones.
