Camp Burglars

These guys hit a whole bunch of camps in my area.

Someone got a trail cam photo of them.

Another valuable use for a trail cam. Too bad there isn't a legal season where one could use an old bear trap.

 

Really sucks. I had a trail cam taken. Card, mount and all. I use python bike locks now.

Can't be very many guys that wear an ugly striped outfit like that one guy has in the picture !  He should be arrested for wearing something like that !

Yeah, they hit a bunch of places, including my neighbor. They not only took everything of value, they cut out any copper pipes they could find, and vandilized the places.

One of the camps had a big propane tank, filled with about 800 dollars of fuel, and they opened the valve and left.

I think I was not hit because I have a ridiculous amount of cameras visible. (And some not visible)

Stealing is bad enough but to turn a valve to drain a propane tank is beyond stupid !

Friend of mines seasonal home got hit about a year ago. The vandals opened a frost free spigot he has on top of his well housing. He figured it ran for two weeks. threw his gas grill and furniture off the deck too .. trashed it pretty bad. Now he has the spigot locked and cameras in place. Sometimes you never know what motivates these characters.

Scumbaggish for sure What would/how would they feel if the camp they were about to try to rob/steal from caught them.I would beat them then take to the law if they were robbing my place.
