Hell, 42 is my waist size...I have jocky shorts OLDER than 50 years..Some of them were autographed by Wilt Chamberlain when he was a rookie..He was a great ball handler.

I've been 172 on a motorcycle and I tell you what even blinking at those speeds can be life ending. Turn left go 200 is a skill even if it is a circle or oval

What year was your stang? I had an 87 coupe I used to drag race back in the day. Raced a lot at NY international in Leistcer(sP?) NY outside of Geneseo. Miss the toys.

157mph is my tops. 1992 corvette ZR1 I bought when I graduated high school.

Car went a lot of faster but this was on 1 lane road and turn was approaching so I had to slow it down

I was RIDING in a car that was going REALLY fast one time. A drunk Mexican was driving. We had killed 3 bull elk on his property that day to the tune of $500 per elk and he was celebrating his good fortune..His speedometer went to 100 and he had it pegged and floored for miles.It was dark and there were elk crossing the road all over. I thought I was going to die. I kissed the ground when he finally stopped and swore that I would never ride with him again.

About 150 (plus or minus a few mph) in a Honda Prelude Si also on I-80 in PA.  Coming back from college in Michigan during summer break.

Nah. Got a great deal on it, $13k. I was 18 in 2002, so the car was 10 years old at this point. Sold it a few years later for $18k so it was a great deal.

Funny story when I sold it is that it was a guy from Tennessee who kept emailing me about the autotrader ad. I kept ignoring him thinking it was a scam. But finally I gave him a chance and he flew into Westchester county airport, paid cash, I marked the bills with one of those markers because I was scared it was fake, but all turned out fine. He drove it back to Tenn with dealer plates on it.

Regarding the $. I was a bartender at 18 for a hall that held weddings. I got $8/hr plus tips. All weddings were open bar so a good night I was bringing home $400 or so for a 4-5hour wedding. More importantly, it was my free pre- game before going to the bars with my fake ID
