About 150 (plus or minus a few mph) in a Honda Prelude Si also on I-80 in PA. Coming back from college in Michigan during summer break.

Nice! I loved those preludes. I had a 94 white SI VTEC it used to get over 40mpg. My bro had a 98 I think, black, type SH

Hell, 42 is my waist size...I have jocky shorts OLDER than 50 years..Some of them were autographed by Wilt Chamberlain when he was a rookie..He was a great ball handler.

. Wilt The Stilt handled your balls? Never knew he swung that way. I guess after 2000+ women you can get bored

What year was your stang? I had an 87 coupe I used to drag race back in the day. Raced a lot at NY international in Leistcer(sP?) NY outside of Geneseo. Miss the toys.

I have a 90 GT, back in my single days my buddy's and I were there on wed nights quite often. Fun times!!

One day im cruzing out of town in a 40mph zone before it turns 55 and I see a 94 ish camero z28 a little ways ahead of me so I get behing him leaving it in 3rd gear not sure if he wants to race but im ready, well he hammered it as soon as we hit the straight away, foot to the floor all the way into 5th gear and then let off it. I stuck to his bumper the whole time, camero's had 350's under the hood, i just had the ole' 5.0 with some minor mods. At the next stop sign he got out walked back asked me out of amazement what did  to my engine to keep up with him, I said different exhaust. That's why I've always been a mustang guy.

Yea I preferred the mustang GT to the Z28 and the Cobra over the SS Camaro. But then I got a Vette ZR1 and I had a change of heart.

Nowadays I can't justify owning 2 cars (sports car and beater) so just a 328xi for me. Luxury, awd, and still enough sport to have fun.

Well luckily mines been paid off a long time and ins is actually pretty cheap because of the limited mileage and its gotta be a classic by now? If I were to get a car id probably go BMW but I wouldn't fit in the 3 series id have to go 5 or 7.

I was never and still am not that into cars.  The Prelude was originally my brothers but he wrecked it.  When I got into college, my dad did a full complete repair of it and gave it to me.  Supposedly it was the last year of the Prelude before they started putting some speed cap on it that shuts the engine down once it reaches pass a certain speed.  People kept asking me to sell them the engine so they can drop it into their newer Preludes.

guessing thru Ontario ? Once you get into it at Point Huron /Sarnoa bridge thru the 45 mile stretch of nothing ?! That's where I topped out. 127 in my Beretta Z26. Dang thing had a governor I found out. Tach was only at 3.5 and wouldn't start red lining til 7. Wife went to MSU. Made that trip a lot

I've only gone through Canada a few times and each time not only did I take the Ambassador bridge but I've also seen someone get pulled over during that stretch you speak of.

I went to UofM and I'm from NYC so the best way was to go south to Toledo and take I-80 through Ohio-PA-NJ-NYC. I would leave late afternoon and so by the time I hit PA, it would be 3AM and I had long stretches of nothing and no other cars on the road for miles.

I was actually in Daytona at the track on Wednesday, not a big fan but vacationing a few miles away and my son wanted to see it and some cars. I was watching the end of the race Sunday after getting home and it was a good finish.

I have been way to fast in more than a few cars and lucky to be alive. I have gone over 160 at Charlotte Speedway in a race car. On my own on public road over 150 twice. Once in a Pontiac Firebird of my buds and once in my 79 Monte Carlo we dropped a 396 big block in with straight pipes and oversized everything in it.

I've been on bikes, sleds and boats going a lot less that was a lot scarier!! I don't think I ever drove under the speed limit anywhere until I hit 40 lol. Now I don't even like fast roller coasters!!

I lived in Piffard and we could hear you guys racing  while sitting on the porch....In high school we use to head out that way once in a while...Too much noise for me even back then....(Leicester)
