ants
Had 2 toms strutting this Am. We have 14 birds total, 2 toms, 4 bearded hens, 1 with a leg band & the rest hens. Two days ago we had 5 deer, the 14 turkeys, & about 100 red wing blk. birds & a couple cardinals in the yard. My sister was here at the time & said it's like a zoo around here. Still on robins! A couple hours ago I saw 3 toms fanned out around 8 hens, on the property I hunt. First time I have seen turkeys there since a month or so ago. Last time there were at least 20 birds in the same field. I spotted a bunch of snow geese today, in a field, a few miles away. First i've seen so far. I think you can hunt snows next month.
