They are great tenants if you don't like mice! Both startle the Mrs. But I really don't have a problem with a few snakes on the property. Caught and released a four foot long king snake in the basement this past spring. I see it every now and then by the wood pile where I let it go. The out buildings do not seem over run with mice, so they are keeping up their end of the deal!

I hate snakes . They do a lot of good in getting rid of rodents , etc but I just hate the things .

They are pretty disgusting things. I generally leave them alone only because they are useful, but they aren't something that I have any particular love for.
