A guy drinking Sangria is like  going into a bar and ordering a Tom Collins or a Singapore Sling...

It   results in immediate revocation of your MAN CARD...

Hehehehe...I remember a corpsman that attended Navy Reserve drills with me..

He was obviously gay as a lord...He even talked with a lisp..

He told me that his favorite drink was a Thingapore Thling......

Lol.  Lobster was for my wife and kids for a surprise. My 6 year old was so excited he hugged my wife when I served it up. I ate the ribs.   I picked one rack up and it fell out of my hands due to tenderness. Holy moly good.  Sangria....eh. I'll stick to the beer thread

it's not bad.  My sister-in-law (well at the time, to-be-in-law) had it at her engagement party/BBQ.

She has a couple sisters, they and their mother like to knock back some wine occasionally at gatherings.

It was the closest cold drink at hand at the time, as the ice was not in coolers for the other drinks yet.and we were   assisting at finishing getting everything setup.

There was a gallon or two of it already made on the table.

Had to tell the kids it was special punch just for the adults.

Now, if Rockspec is taking orders, I'll take some ribs, a lobster tail with butter sauce, and an ear of corn.

Being a gin guy, I enjoy a properly made Tom Collins. I recommend The Revelry on University ave. Not my kinda crowd, but the know how to make a drink.
