zeus1gdsm
Savage axis 2 camo. 3x9x40 weaver. . 308. Remington round nose soft points. The round nose shoot better than the pointed ones. And better than some Winchester something or others I bought.....If I have the cash flow next year. I'm going to have the barrell cut down to 18 or 16 inches from 22. I love me a lightweight rifle. And probably a better scope with a bigger diameter.Savage shoots a good 2-3inch group at 100 yards. She isn't a piece of art. But she is lightweight which is what I'm about. Carries over from backpacking.Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk
Big_Bean_Dog
Savage 99 chambered in 300Sav. Haven't used this one in a long time. Checked the zero recently and it is right where I left it 10 years ago. Will be hunting some woods and field that I first used this rifle on when I started hunting. This will be a trip on memory lane tomorrow. Good luck allSent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

Adkhunter1590
Browning A-Bolt 30-06Miss my A bolt. Picky about ammo but damn she was a shooterI'll be out tmw with my trusty benelli supernova 12 gauge with some cheapo Remington 2 3/4 sluggers. Won't be shooting too far so it should be alright. Might pick up a new rifle next week but benelli will do for now.

Tughill Tamer
Ive asked it before , but it still interests me for some reason,,, What gun and load are you all using in the morning..I can't make it to my Southern rifle spot tomorrow (long story) so I am hunting near the house with a shotgun. Winchester 1300 with a 1.5- 4.5 x 32 scope loaded up with Lightfield 1 1/4 oz. slugs. They work pretty well. Good luck to all!!!!Nice shotgun, I had one about 5 hrs ago and ended up selling it to a friend who didnt have a lot of money but needed a decent whitetail rig.Sold it to him for $200 topped with a Nikon shotgun scope. I miss that gun.Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk

wooly
I'll have my tripod mounted 24.2 MP Nikon D-3200 w/55-300mm lens and 32GB SD card and two back-up battery packs and remote triggers. I'll bring the 50cal Traditions ML in case I see something that needs some assistance posing in the distance. Hopefully sis can stop them for me with her 20ga. Mossburg 500 first though. I'm just tagging along for moral support this weekend.
