If you watch closely, the guy doing the punching seems to be well aware of those dangers. He steps back a couple of times to stay away from the kick radius. He's also a big dude with a long reach and even when he throws the punch he's keeping his body back away from that kick. I sure as heck wouldn't want to be hit by him. On top of that, he was looking after the welfare of his dogs, which is admirable.

That was my thought, I am surprised the dog didn't tear into that Roo though. The dog looked like a mastif of some sort, not a small dog my any means. They used to shoot Roo because of over population with no season. It looks like the guy wasn't trying to hurt the animal just give a lesson. Like mentioned I wouldn't want to take a right hook from that guy.

That guy definitely gets some respect! Some times you gotta do what you gotta do.
