Once again you fall back upon your tired and true hatred for Islam and fail to answer the question i asked.

Papist has made pretty clear he doesn't like Islam, or many other races for that matter.

Other than a statue of Saddam Hussein, I cannot recall any time when we made defeated countries tear down historical statues. And as I recall even Hussein's statue was destroyed by Iraqis, and not at the demand of the U.S. So why do we want to treat defeated regions of the current U.S. with more humiliation that we afford other countries?

We didn't make those people tear down Hussein's statue! The people of Saudi Arabia tore it down due to the liberation the USA gave them.

I think the statues needed to be left where they were. Has anyone really looked at the "protesters" asking for the removal? Take a real look at the statue that was torn down in Durham! It was mostly over privileged white kids trying to be martyrs!

This stupid race crap is flat out BS, and it's a cover up! Obama started it, and now people like Papist, Info Wars, and all the the acolyte's aren't making anything better.

You want to make a difference, then do "SOMETHING"! Make your own site ( it's really not that hard ), organize protests, stop pissing and moaning if you aren't prepared to make a stand.

Those who seek to erase their history are doomed to repeat it. These are counter intuitive actions on the part of the iconoclasts

can't believe it but i whole heatedly agree with this.

But i do think the true issue is that these are "monuments" meant as tribute, not a lesson in the history books. Not many cultures keep their dark history proudly displayed. Having museums to visit and educate like the holocaust museum is good. Having a bronze statue of Hitler in your town square? Not so much.

Having spent 2 years in the deep south I never saw an issue with many of these monuments. Most of the folks I knew felt the same (all races). It seems more and more that folks from the north want to tell those backwards southerners what they should think (ie dude from Ohio kills girl in Charlotesville and liberal rag preaches their values to small southern town).
