Trump and his family have already depleted the Secret Service's funds because of their frequent travel

As long as these complaints and accusations are being leveled at the entire administration, and not just Trump himself, let's not forget the $6 BILLION that mysteriously went missing from the Obama State Department under the direction of Hillary Clinton. It's still missing, and I'd be willing to bet that it wasn't used to pursue the interests of the U.S. citizens.

I'm no fan of Hilary but that sounds like fake news.

"Explanation: The claim appears to come from a 2014 alert issued by the State Department’s inspector general that said $6 billion in Iraq contracts were incomplete or could not be located. It did not say $6 billion had been lost.

The alert said that over the past six years, the watchdog for the Department of State "contracts with a total value of more than $6 billion in which contract files were incomplete or could not be located at all." But after subsequent media reports suggested that the State Department had lost the money, Inspector General Steve Linick wrote a letter published in The Washington Post saying that claim was false. "Some have concluded based on this that $6 billion is missing," he wrote on April 13, 2014. "The alert, however, did not draw that conclusion. Instead, it found that the failure to adequately maintain contract files — documents necessary to ensure the full accounting of U.S. tax dollars — 'creates significant financial risk and demonstrates a lack of internal control over the department's contract actions." An analysis by the Post states that because the contracts in question were issued from October 2004 to October 2011, "it’s safe to assume that more than half of the contracts were issued before Clinton took charge of the State Department."

Well from the pictures I've seen of his golf outings, he's got important people with him the entire time. Looks more like on the move business meeting than it does golf. The guy is a deal maker and likes to shmooze and entertain his marks into submission. Getting people out of a office makes them act differently, he's probably trying to take advantage of that. He's no dummy when it comes to getting what he wants from people. If he was out there just to play and not get shit done, then ya that's not cool. But he's obviously getting stuff done so play on man play on.

I also agree with him being the most likely president in recent history to be a target for assassination. Look at the crap going on, how could anyone not agree with that? With that being said, more security is obviously going to go hand in hand with it. So ya it's pretty much a no brainer as to why it's costing so much. If the sore losers would just take defeat like adults like we all did when Obama was elected not once but TWICE, this convo wouldn't even be happening.

O and I'm sure the amount of money we will spend on protecting him is ALOT less than what Hillary would have given away to foreign country's or minority's in our cities.

Adk. To clarify.  The deep south are the biggest moochers of our tax dollars.  Not inner city minorities.

Id be all in favor of ripping down those losers statues and putting big ulysses grant statues in there place to remind them who won and still funds the south.

Well...a lot can be said about why the south requires more federal tax dollars. But regardless, welfare, Medicare and all other social services cost us FAR more than trump ever will for security. I'd rather see welfare cut down to 1 year max no exceptions than cut security to our president.

We are getting off the original topic but here is a good read.  Seems to be working and weeding out those who truly need help opposed to those abusing the system. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.forbes.com/sites/theapothecary/2016/05/19/new-report-proves-maines-welfare-reforms-are-working/amp/

That's all good and dandy. But unfortunately, anyone who's traveled as much as I have knows full well the culture differences between states. Maine is nothing like NY and even more opposite of some southern states. I grew up in a small rural town here in NY and know MANY families who have been using welfare for generations and have absolutely no desire to ever change that. Hell I even work with guys who are on the utility crew (aka floor sweepers) that won't work too many hours otherwise some of their benefits could get cut off. Guys won't marry their baby mamas so the state will keep handing them money, the list goes on and on and on.

And for what reason is he doing this?

He's doing it because he has ambitions of running for president in 2020. He's trying to get his name out there and is starting to layout a (false)history of looking like he gives a damn about people. I hope to god we as NYers can educate the rest of the country on who this scumbag really is when the primaries come around in a few more years.
