Wife seen a spike and a 4 point , my son seen same spike and had a deer hang out to the right of his blind but couldn't tell what it was. Myself watched a chipmunk fill his cheeks numerous times with corn  climbing up the stalk and onto the cob.we will most likely  be staying home these next few weekends unles there is a drastic change in the temperatures .

Just opener so far for me... It was a great opener...turkey flying off roost, squirrel, way too many chipmunks and doe and twins in the morning afternoon fox chasing and catching a cat,an exciting encounter with a doe and twins tired back but no shot and busted. jays everywhere and chickadees. and a red squirrel on my shoulder... neither knew until I turned my head. at that point I was wishing I had a face mask on... :scare:we both jumped and he ran down my arm and around to the trunk of the tree....thank heavens he was so fast I almost didn't have time to be too startled...lol

Saw 4 small bucks and 6 doe. The one doe with fawn in toe was getting mounted by a button buck in one of my shooting lanes . He got down after a few seconds and took a long deep sniff of her behind before the 3 walked away together. The little guys are fun to watch ,they get the slightest tingle down there and just go hog wild.

Only have been able to get out on Sunday for a morning sit. It was a great morning. Saw a shooter buck on the hoof. 10 minutes after seeing him I had a deer coming in from the same direction and of course I was assuming it was the shooter so my blood was pumping and my knees were knocking which is always awesome with my bow in hand. Turned out to be a 3 pt and I got to watch him for 10 or 15 minutes. Had a BB buck come through and very large lone doe. Thought it was odd that she was all alone but I got a good look at her head multiply times and she was definitely a doe. It was a great morning in the woods and I can't wait for this weekend!

I saw 2 giant bucks stop within 10 feet of my stand. One was at least 10 I didn't get a great look at the other it was at least 8 and large. Came up behind me and stopped they caught my scent then took off. Sooo close I was very bummed, darn wind. There was a third little guy and later a fourth 4 pointer. I'm waiting on those giants. Saw some does but far away I won't shoot those till later in the season though.
