Getting these #%!&@! tiny burrs off my gear.

Anybody? Cause the ‘Cabelas whisper-suede finish’ on my gear is sounding more like ‘Velcro through a bullhorn’ at this point.

 

It was a toss up to put this post here as opposed to the ‘general’ forum.

I hate those things.  I usually just take a gloved hand and rub most of em off.

Those things suck! Picking them off helps pass time while sitting in the stand.

i have to watch where i walk when i get to the field because its edges are full of those things. It helps to be able to identify the plants so you can avoid them.

i still prefer the felt type of gear to the swish, swish. Honestly there's no good answer. It's just something to do when in the stand lol. Even more fun on a gillie suit.

I took a 4" putty knife that is flexible. Sanded the sharp corners a little round so they don't catch and cut the fabric. scrape away. works best having them off and layign them on something hard like a piece of plywood.
