HEY...I have an idea...

Why don't we start an OLD FAT Hunter competion...??...

That way Bubba, Doc, Fasteddie, Sweet Old Bill and I would have a chance to strut our stuff...

Now that is an excellent idea, it would have to be done in the AM before nap time ofcourse.

My dad used to see a old guy with a big belly and say, "Boy look at that guy, he must be a hell of an archer, what form" Now he is that guy hahaha

By that way, thank you for knitting me the mink lined thong, its nice and warm and I may even wear it when I go bear hunting, (thats a reference to hunting in the nude not the animal).

If there was an OLD FAT hunter competition, there surely wouldn't be a lack of contestants out there.  What other sport has XXXL garments available for it's participants like hunting does??  Not very many, that's for darned sure!  You could probably fit several hikers or cyclists into one typical hunter sized garment!  LOL

No, I think I will pass on that.  I see enough of them at sporting goods stores and parading in camo during hunting season.  They are usually sweating and breathing heavily when I do see them, so I think the exertion of a contest might actually be a bit too much for them.

That's fine by me. I'm just a huge supporter of our outdoor women who love to hunt.

In that case, blaze orange garments surely won't be a requirement!  He might even get point deductions for wearing it.  ;) 

Now if you made Arrowflinger a judge, God help the hunter who showed up with a crossbow in hand.  He would disqualify them immediately.  ;)

NYAntler would be a fair judge as long as you didn't show up on stage too early  ;)

Pat Rockets would be the easiest of judges.  Just give him some weed and you will definitely get a perfect score.  ;)

I am as well.

I just don't see the value of online popularity contests and choose not to participate.

I don't know any of them and with my luck would end up supporting an axe murderer. ;)

I'm happy to hear you support female hunters as well and I support everyones right to choose to vote or participate in anything they want.

Each lady had a short Bio under their photo so you can learn a bit more about them.

I did not know any of them personally either. Nor did I have anything to do with organizing the contest. From my point of view, if someone can get so many of our female hunters together and shine a spotlight on them - in April mind you, a long ways from deer hunting season - and get so many people interested, then in my opinion, just like rain, it's a good thing.

I think it is great that so many women are taking up the sport.  They may turn out to be what saves the sport in the long run.  We need more people buying licenses to ward off the anti's, who seem to be mostly female by the way.  The anti's are not able to use their worn out psycho/sexual attacks about men who like hunting on women who hunt.  And female hunters are better at putting the anti's in their place with a factual retort.

It's a good thing these women like to hunt and anything out there that inspires other women to try it is a good thing.  It's also a good thing for young girls to see they can grow up to be a hunter too.  I'd love to find a women who would hunt with me and tolerate my obsession with the sport.

It has also been my experience women make better shooters, as well as good hunting partners out to enjoy the sport without trying to prove something.

VJP, well put the more allies we have the better we are off. It would be hard to argue with a solid block of women defending our right to hunt.
