DANG...  ???

I guess If antler size measures a hunter's success - I've got to torture my body annually (though nowdays mole hills seem to do that) farther than I've ever done before to be successful.  I thought when I was a young lad I went into some pretty wierd places to shoot a buck... but you guys really set the bar!

About 40 years ago I watched a huge buck 'ski' down a steep mountain with his front legs folded underneath him.  The snow was about 6" deep that day and he went by me so fast I never got a bead on him (don't know if I really wanted to - it was just incredible to watch him).  It was an incredible sight and I still think about that experience today.

To me that's what makes hunting - memories, frozen in time.

I applaud you guys that 'go-beyond' to get a buck - it's experiences like that that'll stay with you till the end of time!

Big buck that is a great deer. You get to chase some of the big boys that wander off the safty zone up there where your at.Most guys wonder why i leave 700 acres of great land up here and drive 3 hours to hunt down there.Been doin it for over15 years and will as long as i can get over those freakin banks.I just love that place!!!

Not meaning to throw cold water on this post, however, I received this same exact picture via text on March 24th, stating this buck was found along the banks of the Cattaraugus Creek in Springville, New York.

I trusted the source and sent the pic on to a few of my friends, one friend sent me back the message that he received that very same photo a week prior.

It seems this buck has been around.

Great site and great thoughts by the membership.

I just wanted to outline that this pic has been in circulation since late march..
