Destroying School rifles

   Well now the Clarence, NY school officials want to melt down & destroy the high school rifle team's 22 cal. target rifles because they are not used anymore.  Now that they use air rifles in competition they just sit on the shelf & take up space they claim.  The team members say they should be sold or used for training up coming shooters. What a shame it would be to destroy these beautiful rifles.  Another stupid idea!   jmo.

Target rifles are worth some.money..they will spend money destroying them vs make it..typical

Just as all the school districts do waste taxpayer money with no recourse.Same as town, county,state government, they really dont have to answer to anyone for their actions.

They have no mindset or care how they spend the taxpayer money.
