Turkey leg knife

I had a knife blank laying around and figured I'd try and make a knife from a turkey leg. It's not too practical , more for show I guess.

Were you able to keep the bone inside the leg? The pummel threaded?

I just logged in and saw this. I forgot all about it.

Yes , the leg bone is still attached and the pommel is threaded.

Did you use a clear coat of resin on that ?  Hard to tell from picture , looks great btw

I put a thin coat of polyurethane on it.

Thanks for the reply. Do you mind me asking what glue you used inside the bone?  I was thinking of using the spur for the guard. Longer the better.
