Old Hunting pics from early 1900's

Come across a couple of old hunting pics of my Grandfather and Great Grandfather. From genealogy guessing about 1910. In center GGF, Levi , RT GF SRL  Left dont know.

2nd pic GR SOL and friend.

Nice pics, it’s interesting how back then, they took great care in setting up the picture. Posing, back round ect.

A lot more effort to take a photo.  Not just whipping out your phone.

And they had to stand perfectly still for a minute or so due to long exposures. That also why few people smiled in old pics.

There's a pic in my family where everyone has this serious look on their face but for the one guy in the middle who sports a big smile. I asked my grandfather who he was and he said, "that's your great great uncle, Nikoli. We were at his funeral."

Apparently, that was a thing back then.

i've learned every deer taken just take a ton of pictures. more than reasonable. you can't go back and retake them.

It appears to be but I never seen it. Maybe he traded or sold it for his Win or Marlin. Sure would of liked to have been willed it.

This is my grandfather when he was fifteen a year before he lied to uncle Sam and enlisted in the Navy. He said he shot this rabbit on his way to the mill. Here he is a year later at 16 in the Navy.
