Recommended Posts

So on Sept. 2nd I checked my plots every thing looked good today i checked them 9/14 and two of my barassica plots are all but dead wilted brown to the point the leaves on some are like dust, It actually looks like they got sprayed by weed killer,, i know that did not happen,, any ideas what could have happen  they are to far gone to bring back... from lush and green to dead in 12 days...

Here’s a quick pic of my buddy’s pumpkin patch we planted this year.

At first we thought/partially hoped it was deer wrecking the joint. Turns out he tried a new seed that was not as resistant to POWDERY MILDEW (so I agree with G-man ).

Other varieties of pumpkin planted in the same field do not look like this.

Its the powdery mildew that did it. They got my neighbors pumpkin patch behind my house too. I believe he said he sprayed his with baking soda or something. Ive never witnessed it on my plots or had to react to it yet.  It sounds like its to late for yours though? Sorry to hear that.
