How long should it take to get back a gun that was sent back for repairs?

So I sent my shotgun back for repairs it suffered from light primer strikes. 

I'm assuming a new spring and pin is what  needed to be change it's been  2 weeks already .  Like to have it back before small game ends at  least

13 days would be my limit then I'd just go buy a new one, maybe two just in case the first one went tits up.

What was the manufacture of the first?

I got 2 others to use ,

But I wanted to use that one ,

Sucks , 

Midland 

Last time I buy a firearm online with out  physically seeing it lesson learned

Yea I do 2 backups

I avoided sending it back for while thinking it  would fix itself  after using it no such luck.

It does not matter who I buy a gun from, the last 6 shotguns I bought (all brand new) went back to the factory for some adjustment or another. Best to buy it in the summer, work all the bugs out, and the inevitable shipment back to the factory. But the answer is it could take a couple months, in some cases. Hope you get it back soon!

Yea but how hard is it to build a single shot shotgun  that works reliable.

So I figured I take a chance on it . The metal work and Finnish were good . Even  my  FFL was surprised at how good for the price .

But looks like they  did the cheap on the guts insides .

Not a crazy amount  30  40 maybe  I think  it never got better and in the cold seemed like it got worse was like hitting the lottery if the thing went off .

Remington  then  tried Federal then I tried Winchester

It all depends on how busy they are...I had to wait up 7 months and had a gun returned  to me in 2 weeks..

First step would be to thoroughly degrease it / clean the inside action, then lightly relube it, then field test it again.

Where did you send it for repairs? Keep in mind standard ups shipping is going to be who knows how many days there, and then returned, don't count week ends, and of course, you did call them ahead of time and got an estimate on the turnaround, right?

The manufacturer it  was a new gun

You think I should call them back up and see if that speeds up the process or maybe that  makes  it worse by annoying them ?

From what I’ve heard on other forums it will be a few months unless something has changed. It’s a new company that’s doing the repairs and there has been growing pains.
