I drove through that on the way home from work. Was raining crazy hard when I was on 86. Cars were pulling over and stopping. Two single car accidents on opposite sides of 86 near Painted Post. Looked like each car hydroplaned and hit the divider. Glad you guys are good.

Wife and I we’re at the gym and then had some dinner In around Corning, nothing but some rain and thunder lightning. Did see the cars backed up on the 4 lane though.

Be safe everyone..

Still no power this morning  . Crews are out setting new poles .  Going to have to start evacuating  the precious  foods in the freezer to  mother inlaws house . I still have a bunch of venison  and probably half a russian boar down there..  It has been 14 hrs since power went out.

Wondered if you have a natural gas feed to your home and if it is feasible to have a back-up electric generator installed, to protect yourself from these damaging storms.

Well they just turned power on . Good news for the 3 houses here  further up they are still working. 600 houses above me still down.

I have natural gas here I will look into a natural gas generator.

We were pretty lucky  here up the road less than a half mile got hit pretty hard . I have only heard of one injury.

Dont know if it was a tornado or just straight  line winds but it was pretty impressive . I'm betting 60 plus mph winds weather alert i got said 80 mph.

Dont have cable haven't seen any news.

Spectrum  sucks !

We have a package deal  $200 month for cable internet  and phone . They tell me we dont have an outage in our  area. Cant get to us until Wednesday.  Tell them there is multiple houses in the intersecting road  with no cable . Doesn't matter  3 or more houses on a street is an outage.  Watched spectrum truck drive by my house and work on a pole 3 houses up on next road :fuckyou: . That's awesome  customer service ....
