I would seriously consider making one for less than half the cost of the scent crusher....See my response to Bionic.

i don't mess with ozone except for the cigarette lighter one to refresh the truck interior. anything is washed in scent and dye free detergent and dried it goes into plastic ziploc big bags though until it's used once. then regular ones go into a cedar trunk/box. carbon or scent absorbing clothes go back into a plastic ziploc big bags.

I think you could also purchase a cheap portable closet and an ozone generator off amazon and get virtually the same thing as the scent crusher closet if you wanted to go that route....

Funny that several times when using the scent crusher bag to treat my clothes in the back room of the house, my wife has said, "We must have a window open somewhere, because I can smell fresh air". LOL  That's pretty much what clothes smell like afterwards.

i have 3 sets of hunting clothes (at least) i rotate for hunting - generally dont go more than 2 days with anything before its washed in no scent soap and hung out in the shed.  In between hunts for those two days i "nuke em" in the ozone bag.  And yeah I know some guys say they do no scent control in the stand and it doesnt matter they get a deer.  But just think how many more they might see if they did?    

 I like to think its one more thing in my favor when it comes to a whitetails nose.  And i am not hunting where the deer are as many as stars in the sky. So the better chance i have with a little scent elimination the better.  I like to take any advantage i can get within reason with very little more effort. But i also know in the two main places i hunt i am generally the guy that drags one out each year.  

I think the biggest advantage in hunting is always location - but when your locations are mostly set i like to try to up the other odds in my favor.  When your talking about buying an ozone bag vs putting in food plots, stands, water sources, more land, and hunting equipment, the price is minimal for the return.

Anyone ever try it on something really stank, like hockey equipment? I’d like to know if it works that well. Regardless of your views on scent control ozone most certainly kills odors so I say go for it, it will make you more confident

I bought a cheap unit on eBay and it didn’t work on my daughters smelly ballet shoes. Stay away from this piece of junk

That is not such a bad idea!  I store my clothes in a tote and put one of those “Earth” pods in it.  When I put them on, I smell dirt.  

We use ozone machines to kill odors in hotel rooms and the instructions clearly state TO NOT BE IN THE ROOM WHEN THE MACHINE IS ON.
