Ha, that would be, ours is only about 1000 acres (couple hundred of which is really rugged hillside) abutted TO 5000 acres of state land.  Makes for alot of border guarding during gun season.

That's a great buck, but don't get too worked up just yet. It's still summer and his range can shift for the fall.

Running cams this time of year is a love/hate affair. Love to see the bucks, but you just know some of them are going to go off the ground come hunting season.

Bill Winke doesn't even run his cams on his Iowa ground until Mid Sept. I thought about that for a second thinking that's crazy, but it makes a bunch of sense.

phade I completely agree.  Same thing happened to me last year with a decent 8 & 9 point. They disappeared when it became time to hunt. If he sticks around then its time to get excited.  One more pic. Nice and wide.

That last pic is cool how that buck has his whole beam resting on his back like that when his head is facing backwards... what a buck...
