wdswtr
Yep another great opening weekend in southern tier. Everytime I look at the forecast it gets worse. Might stay home and ML hunt.
Doc
Crap it's going to be windy! No, not just windy, but winds approaching hurricane velocities. 60 MPH winds in western NY. Guys are going to be blown right out of their trees. This just ain't right!!!!
growalot
I love it ..the first week for me is watching anyways ....with a occasional bonus shooter ...for me...showing up... With the nasty weather coming through Saturday...... I know I can sit back relax and watch movement in the usual calm spells in days like that...Then Sunday when things calm down after the last several bad days they will be up and moving in earnest...woods are quiet from the rain...leafs have covered scrapes and they'll be out marking territory again...no problems
UpStateRedNeck
Local dudes say a NW wind, weather channel/weather underground saying a WSW wind...... I'm going to go down in my out of the wind stand for the morning, but if it's real unpleasant I won't be out too long.
WNYBuckHunter
I just checked our local forecast and they are talking 35+ mph winds. I might not even bother going out, because I wont get in a tree stand with that kind of wind. The original 20 - 25mph forecast was pushing it for me. Geno C
you gotta love when you wake up during the week for work and its cold then the weekend comes and you can go to the beach...
WNYBuckHunter
Ill make my decision when I wake up tomorrow. If its really windy, Ill find something else to do. If its not too bad, Ill be out there. Sunday says winds around 15 mph. That sounds alot better to me. Only problem is, I cant hunt Sunday morning. UpStateRedNeck
Sunday should be a bit better, at least in eastern NY. You boys out west hang onto your butts!
