eagle rider
as someone who has to deal with that element all of the time, here are my thoughts in reading this,.... 1) as well demonstared from teh article, the time they are caught is rarely the first offense 2) their mistakes are the cranal sins of all idiots, they got greedy 3) I'm sure the gang bangers and generalized skells in County will love hanging out with weirdo poachers (weird by crimnals standards),.... hope they enjoy their time in the shower. burmjohn
Interesting.... "The following individuals were cited on charges related to unlawfully taking a total of 24 deer in Illinois and Canada over a 10-year period. "
WNYBuckHunter
Dumbasses. I hope when they stiffen up the poaching penalties here in NY, they come close to what IL does.

Doewhacker
These stories where its the people that should know better always fascinate me. This is what the pressure to suceed in business will do to some, same goes for any business I suppose. Just imagine what some of these other more public idol types have done to get to where they are. You know Doe I was just talking about that exact thing with some hunting buddies. I wonder how many of the so called "pros" have gotten where they are by cutting corners or bending the laws. Makes you think.

Doc
This sort of thing seems to happen a lot with people that have their livlihood tied to their hunting. There seems to be an overwhelming pressure to produce, and all too often that extends to legal means or otherwise.
