snagged him in a trash can and slid a piece  of sheet metal  underneath.  Carried him outside IMG_3880.thumb.jpg.293845d46fb03aee29d878773ea129af.jpg

You could have given him a little tap with a piece of Styrofoam and got a lifetime's supply...

Never thought about it  was more worried about getting it out of the plant without getting it hurt or one of us getting hurt. I have a skin at home I use from time to time . I picked it up at fly fishing flea market . I have used all the bigger quills years ago

they are Mr Mellow of the animal world. I scooped up a little one outside of work that was chowing down on acorns, and brought him home to show my son. We back up to woods, so after a short visit I took him to the back yard where there were alot more oaks. he was happy to just explore the back yard for a day or so, and didnt worry about us at all.
